MILL HILL MEETING 16TH SEPT 2007
There were lots of people at a sunny Mill Hill on Sunday September 16th, first to pay their respects to Billy at his grave and then to gather in the church hall in Salcome Gardens for a get together. Billy's lovely mum Jean was there although his brotherAlbie was too poorly to make the long journey. A phone call was made to Albie during the afternoon and everyone called out their best wishes for him. Later a card was signed for him by everyone wishing him well.
With 'Magic Daniel's' disco playing Billy's songs and some people singing it made for a wonderful atmosphere. There was Jean's raffle and an auction which raised a good sum of money for the charities that she and BFITOY support.
